Uma joined SciTech Patent Art as the first employee and helped build it to the present level. Prior to joining the firm, Uma worked in the area of catalysis for over 25 years. She was Manager - Research at The Associated Cement Companies Ltd., Thane. She has worked on projects from concept to commercialization and has brought this rich experience to SPA. She is the Chief Executive Officer of the SciTech Patent Art managing the operations of the firm headquartered in Hyderabad. |

Harita is responsible for business development for the organization, based in the US. She has over a decade of experience in information technology and engineering. Prior to joining the firm she worked at The Sherwin Williams Company, The Ford Motor Company and Convergys Corporation. She is an Electronics and Telecommunication engineer. She is also registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. |

Dr.Lakshman has been with SciTech Patent Art for 6+ years managing groups of various clients and developing new areas of business. He holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from UDCT, Mumbai. He has 12+ years of Industry experience and 7+ years of research. He holds diploma in patent laws and MBA (Technology Management). His main interest is Innovations relating to products and processes.

Santhi is a Client Relations Manager at SciTech Patent Art responsible for building clientele. Santhi has expertise in handling Patentability assessment, Freedom to operate/ Right to use, Invalidation, Competitor landscaping requests and Patent watch, apart from patent drafting. She leads teams working for both Indian and Global clients from the Corporate sector, Academic institutions as well as Law firms, in the areas of FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods), Biomedical Engineering, Polymer technology, Biotechnology, Food Technology and Agricultural Sciences. Santhi, has over ten years of research experience, holds a Doctorate in Chemistry. Her specialization is Catalysis and she has several International publications including a Review article in Applied Catalysis, to her credit. She is a recipient of the “Research Scholar Appreciation Award” from Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (IICT), a CSIR Laboratory, in recognition of her publications. She also holds a Post-graduate diploma in Patent Law from NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad.

Manoj is a Manager for Client Relations at Scitech Patent Art leading the firm's search services business. Manoj has several years of experience in the Intellectual Property industry working with international clients and law firms in areas such as pharmaceuticals, chemical, consumer products, etc. He has several years of experience in patent searching, patent specification drafting, patent portfolio management, infringement assessment for Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients and Intermediates. Manoj has specialization in Organic Chemistry and holds Associateship in Information Science from NISCAIR, a CSIR constituent. He also holds a Diploma in Patent Law. Manoj is currently pursuing MBA in Technology Management. He is registered to practice before the Indian Patent Offices.

Mr. A. A. R. Sarma a graduate in Science, is the Chairman and Managing Director of SPA. Mr. Sarma held various management positions in Sales at Lederle, the pharmaceutical division of Cyanamid India and a subsidiary of American Cyanamid. Mr. Sarma retired from Lederle as the Manager for Hospital Sales for the entire South Indian region. |

Dr.T.S.R.Prasada Rao Vice Chairman, was the Director of Indian Institute of Petroleum, a 650-employee organization with 250 researchers where he was responsible for strengthening client relationships and providing strategic advice to leading petroleum companies. He has bagged several prestigious awards such as those from Federation of Indian Chambers and Commerce (FICCI), Council of Scientific & Industrial Research, the Catalysis Society of India’s Eminent Scientist award, Kamalakumari Foundation and Hari Om Prakash Bhasin awards etc.He is an Honorary Member of Society of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (chaired by India’s Prime Minister), Oil Industry Development Board (apex council regulating India’s oil industry), Prime Minister’s Expert Group on Hydrocarbon Vision 2025 and also on the editorial boards of Applied Catalysis, Fuel Science and Technology and Hydrocarbon Technology.He is a consultant to B P Amoco,Shell International Ltd, GTC Technologies and Engelhard Inc. |

Dr.Srinivas Achanta the founder of SciTech Patent Art, brings with him extensive experience in Chemical Engineering. A Merit Award winner in Chemical Engineering from IIT Madras, he completed his MS and Ph.D. from Purdue University. After a five-year stint with Procter & Gamble on the Technology side, he acquired his MBA from Michigan Ann Arbor. After a short stint with Cleveland Clinic Foundation Innovations Office where he was in-charge of commercializing a Deep Brain Stimulation technology, he spent five years with Booz & Company as a management consultant advising CEOs and Presidents of various companies on business strategic issues.
SciTech Patent Art was born out of the ideas of Dr.Srinivas Achanta and Dr.Prasada Rao. |
